Sean

No worries, Sean....I've seen way worse homemade filters.:) I'm glad that you checked in here to watch the progress. Maybe you can shed some light on what these switches/buttons were for??? They don't seem to have any effect on anything that I can find so far.

Let me know if I can help answer any questions at any point through the restoration....I know this car very well.

Those switches were wired to some garage door openers I had hardwired and hidden in the center console. I soldered cables to the contacts within the openers and then to these switches. When the car went to Tyson I pulled the openers out but didn't want to just leave holes so I left the buttons.

Thanks. I only tried them when the car was turned off. Figured that if I activated the switches going down the road, an oil slick would be be distrubuted on the road to cause the chasing cops to wreck or possible an ejection seat out of the sunroof in case of dire emergency or maybe some tire-chewing auger would appear from a wheel. Too many James Bond movies.....:)

That's awesome! I enjoyed coming up for the weekend and working on it. I love the history behind it. Hope to see it goto a good loving home. It's really a sweet ride and Alan has done a great job restoring it, at LegendLand, where they make Legends great again!

Great history this car has with Sean and others.

Never seen switches like that in a Legend. Sean must have gone at great lengths to make the system work. Alan, I'd recommend tilting the sunroof to make any ejection seat accidents work better.

A Legend Land restored car is always something special when completed. They all have a certain look, feel and smell that Alan puts into them. This one will be no different.

Agreed. This one is in good hands and I can't wait to see the finished product!

Allan I'm not sure I could get back into the game but this would be a proper one to do so with.

Thanks, Rich. This is one of the nicest Legends I have had at Legend Land. No rust, everything comes apart and goes back together real easy and never been modified. Legend is at the paint shop right now. I'll post up some pics when it returns.

Can't wait to see pictures!
