Parked behind a Dodge Ram to walk about 10 feet away and order lunch at this little hole-in-the-wall lunch spot, and the owner gets in the truck, backs up, and crunches into my hood. So i run over like wtf?? Guy was cool about it, happens to be a small business owner (hit me with the company pickup). He backed up since he couldn't see me in his rear window or in his mirror, yet somehow didn't notice me parked behind him when he got in the truck lol.

The awesome part comes in when I realized that he hit me in the perfect spot. Hood's crushed in a bit, but the headlights are fine, bumper's fine, rad supports are fine since he just barely backed into me. My hood already had 2 major dings above the grille and a major ding above the driver's headlight, so now I get it replaced on his insurance's dime

You lucked out nick!! My mom's Jaguar got hit in the door by a cox cable truck they ended up paying $4K getting that jag right again. 2 months later a snow bird backed into the same Jaguar's trunk lid! I swear that british pos had target painted on it!

I wish someone would lightly scratch the drivers side of my car. I'd love to get it painted on someone else's insurance. My back bumper was hit by my wife so It's still banged up and hanging on....

Well i wouldn't necessarily say i'm "happy", its just nice that I actually got hit in a good spot. Could have been way worse, so I'm happy that it didn't suck too much.

Now i just need to get somebody to accidentally rear end me so i can get my bumper replaced, and to somehow hit my rear passenger door so i can get that fixed too

And yeah, we were getting hit with the remnants of Tropical Storm Nicole for the past 2 days, so weather sucked lol.
