Default Pick my exhaust tip.

I'm at a point I'm wanting to fix the exhaust on my car. I can't hardly stand how loud it is, even though it sounds AMAZING at WOT, it drones so bad when cruising, and it's too loud when driving around at night.

I'm going to have the rusted out muffler replaced, and the flexpipe fixed, and I need a new tip. The good muffler I have (which is a replacement) has a single tip. I'm torn between two square tips, and one oval tip.

These are all around the same price (under $20) I'm not going to pay any more for a tip, because I can get a whole new muffler for under $100 with dual chrome tips.

#4 Junk yard tip that's already on there.

This is the only close up I have. You can see where the non tipped muffler use to sag into the bumper.

So what do you think? I'm leaning more towards 3, but I still like the first two.

If you have any suggestions, post up. But remember, I'm not spending more than $20 on a tip.

I like number 1 better cause the 90' originally came with a dual tip, but this one gives it a little more look cause of the Chrome roll.

1 or 3.

Friend has a dual tip on his VW Corrado and it's LOUD - not sure what you're going for but it may not make an improvement in your noise complaint. But it may sound nicer.

Ultimately... I would vote for 3.

Jay, the tip is not going to do anything for the exhaust note, only a change in muffler or cat converter would do that.

Tip is strictly for looks.

hgeez: Why would I want the biggest possible? I don't need anything flashy and rice looking, I just want something to fill the dual wide hole, and look as stock as possible.
