Default Auto Climate Control Swap Question

So I have pulled most of the necessary stuff to convert my sisters car to auto climate control....however, the donor car is an LS that still needs to be able to drive to the junkyard under its own power (about 20 minute drive) in order for me to receive top dollar for it ($1000 vs only getting $150).

If I cut the ACC harness out of the car, will there be any negative effects to other systems in the car that will prevent it from running correctly?

In looking over wiring diagrams, it appears that it is a fairly standalone system (with some ties to the radiator fan controls via the triple pressure switch) and so long as I tape off the 12v/Ignition wires going to the control unit there should be no issues....

If it seems to too risky then I can just wait to find and clip a harness from a junkyard car...however it'd be nice to get as much free stuff off this car as possible....as if most of the Type A interior weren't enough

just cut the wire, if it doesnt work anymore, solder it back. cut the wire before you pull everything so it wont be a pain if it doesnt work..
