to be honest with you its what i bought .. and my LS is running perfectly fine ... BUT .. im stupid for not replacing all the gaskets with new ones ... when my dad took my gaskets off ... he only cleaned out and used the head's and intake gasket .... he used gorilla/monkey glue adhesive to seal the gaskets after cleaning them with kerosene .... its been a year .. heads .. intake GREAT ... but now my valve behind the battery has a small leak .. and my catty is dying .. smokes gettin whiter by each month ... cars not overheating ... its just my exhaust going ... which i understand from the first blow i shoulda replaced the cat the first time lol .... hell i only bought my legend for a THOU ... but good luck if you go with it ... just dont go driving for long periods of time for the next 6 months once u replace them ... GOOD LUCK

him and my brother are the mechanics not me hgeez: ... he said it made the seal become tougher and not be just the gasket become the bi-standard of being blown but the combo of the 2 ... i told him at the time .. "is this one of your effin experiments again ... becuz if it is .. give it the f@ck up" ... i just know i bought these gaskets ebay that the OP is talkin about ... my dad told me to buy some gorilla glue ... i just listen to him :dunno: .. hes the one whos got 32 years of being a mechanic under his belt .. took apart my whole engine and had it back together and like i said i havent had any problems ... i have no room to speak bout cars cuz im a noob no matter what the occasion is .. im just stating what he did as i watched/helped him and its been a year since ive had the car

dont get it wrong man, it's just funny. any straight mechanic will have a good laugh at someone using gorilla glue.... even before actually thinking if it would actually work.

it's just one of those things man. lol

edit: i'm, still very intersted on a heat rating. cuz.... bigboy's totally right... it would expand, but... say... lol... you only put a small amount. ....but uh...when it heated, would it still blow out? maybe this is why the exhaust is gettin whiter? you need to check that shit bro. lol

I used the cheap eBay set for everything but the head gaskets.. I bought the fel-pros for the HGs.. as for not driving for a long time.. the day after I got everything back together I want on a 600+ mile trip and back home with no problems.. the choice is simple, go cheap or go semi cheap.. lol
