Default My last wiring question for this LS dash swap. Any input is appreciated.

I have a 1992 LS dash harness I'm putting into my 1991 L, and I need a little help placing some connectors, since I can't figure out where they go. Any input from people who have pulled the dash from an LS would be greatly appreciated.

First up, I have these two green male connectors:

I thought these were for a tilt/telescoping steering column, since they're right by the steering column, but it's a 1992 harness, so it can't be.

Then there's this one, which I'm 99% sure is for the dimming courtesy light switch, but would still like confirmation:

The last one is under the glovebox, and again, I believe it's for the courtesy lights, but i want to be sure before I button the car back up:

The first pic; the 2 green connectors... I have those also.
I'd like to know what they're for too.
On the '94 GS auto.

When I had my dash replaced I had the same thing: two wire harnesses that didn't connect to anything. It's been at least 6 months and I haven't found anything that doesn't work so they must be redundant.

Well it looks like I didn't miss anything at least. Maybe it is for the cell phone. :dunno: What about the one under the glovebox?

I have a '92 LS and swapped my dash. The harness was re-used. I have the two
"left over" green connectors. I guessed mobile phone also; but, am unsure.
Be careful about the glove box area. The climate control and trunk release connector are the same. Wrong order fries the climate control. The service manual has diagrams and list of connectors and type.

Well there is also a green connecter for the OEM keyless entry.. I'm betting one of those is for that, Unless you have that installed..

Same case. I forgot to mention, I have an LS and I too transplanted my old harness into the new dash. I don't think they're for the keyless entry. If memory serves me well, that has a big 20ish pin connector. I'd put my money on factory phone as well.
