I looked in the DIY section for a write up but I was wondering if any of you have done the "inverted prelude" (clear top/red) coupe taillights? In Flagstaff we have extremely monochromatic lighting because of the multiple observatories up here, I think its something like 530nm (wavelength). Well, whatever shade of orange it is it completely cancels out the amber/orange color of the taillights making them look totally clear on top and well dark red on the bottom, it looks amazing. I'll have to take a photo, it's strange what narrow wavelength lighting can do.
Anyway, I've seen photo's of some people with clear/red tails and it looks amazing. Is there a DIY for this or somebody that has experience doing it, as I think I'd probably go through multiple sets of tails trying to figure it out/get it right. |
