Well fellas I've finally gotten a response from Mick regarding doing a custom kit and then having a template on file for Katzkins leather in the future. Mick did let me know they'll do their best on the rear armrest for JDM REAR RECLINING SEATS!! I'll be forwarding the leather I have now for them to do the measuring and pattern uploading into their system. Due to NOTHING they have I'll be forwarding them my rear armrest in tact to use as the template for doing the center armrest. In addition since there are some although minor differences with the center armrest lids when comparing USDM manual, automatic, EDM and JDM versions I'll be forwarding my center console lid as well to be used as a template. So in the future we can hopefully order complete leather kits for US model KA7s, KA8s (same for EDMs) and JDM Rear Reclining Seat versions directly from Mick and produced by Katzkins. The estimated time frame to have these available depends on how soon I can get these to Mick as he is PERSONALLY going to be assisting with the process. So everyone hope that the Mad Scientist can QUICKLY free up capital by finishing the mechanical build of FrankenGStein! The ball is in my court now!

Last member who recently ordered (rwheadon) did tell me there was a price increase but nothing extreme (this thread is I think TWO years old now). I ordered a kit from Mick yesterday. He's a very nice guy. The prices are $599 and $699 respectively. So they've gone up some. I will let you when I get and install it. I will put up some pics. I got the regular kit btw.

Thanks for posting the new prices. $24 isn't much at all considering two years have passed. I'll have to get quoted again for my new "clothes" and see if I'll still get some special priced "upgrades".

Got my kit and it looks and feels awesome...can't wait to get it installed. Now I have to find a place that won't rape me to install it i NYC. That's a task on it's own.

So it's $699 shipped for the upgraded complete interior still (+$30 for the perforated)? Anyone dealt with Mick recently? Can they do contrasting stitching?

^ Last message I got from another member was maybe 2 1/2 months ago and $699 was the price I believe. Leatherseats.com is NOT Katzkins although from my inquiries with several of the members who purchased from them the quality of the leather is comparable. Leathersears.com though sent me diagrams and none of the kits they gave me were all leather. Each one they sent had sections of vinyl. As for Mick doing preforated and contrast stitching YES they can do that. I don't believe the cost for preforated has changed. I shall be ordering a full custom set in the spring.
