Holy crap.... ^^^ THAT ^^^^^^^ is what I want my legend to look like! You have a very good looking body on that SE.
PM me some pics and price if you want.... Big shoutout to rwheadon for his help with my electrical and emissions problem! Such as pointing out to me there is a switch in my glove box... and now my trunk release works. So I grabbed a master switch from a semi-local junkyard and switched it out. This one had a functioning safety lock, the one at the bottom. Here is a picture before I cleaned it up before I installed it. ![]() Now three of my windows work. Drivers does not, I learned today the previous owner removed the window motor, and just stuck a block of wood to hold the window up.... lol Power mirror only works up and down, not side to side. I do not think heat mirror works either. However the memory seat switch I got seems to have a different connector than on mine... it was off a 93 or 92. Pics of my emissions test. ![]() On the left is first one, you can see better results. On the right is after a half tank of Techron added in, and a then a full tank of ultra Shell gas burned, followed by a bottle of Cata-Clean added in on a 1/4th tank, and then half filled with Sunnoco premium gas. It came out worse... Had the Cat replaced at the school yesterday: ![]() ![]() THERE'S your problem! The instructor said the old cat was a completely hallow shell. So for all intents and purposes, I was minus a Cat. Here is the new California compliant Walker Cat: ![]() ![]() So drum roll please.... ![]() ![]() PASS! ANd I got the pre and post Cat gaskets, and the driver's side Exhuast-to-Manifold. Passed emissions without them, but still going to put them on today. ![]() So why did I fail emissions? It couldn't be the Cat causing his HC readings. Well rwheadon pointed to his signature... and it hit me. I was seeing a puff of smoke when I first start the car in the morning. I am low on Oil. And high HC readings. The valve stem seals were not changed when the Head Gasket job was done.... ![]() So now I have that project to add to the list. Thankfully it can wait a while till things settle down. |
