I went with a 205/55 16" rubber for the GS oem rims VS. the standard 215/55 16. Anyone tried this before and will this setup cause unusual wear due to the less width (1/2")?

I went the opposite 225/50/16 and wish I had stuck to 215 I have noticeable tire squirm at high speeds. Yours probably feels great

Mine is good... To early to tell as I will have to wear the new tires down a bit before really seeing any differences. Thanks for you input though... |

ran 205/55/16s when I had gs rims. No unusual wear. Suspension alignment and age will have the most say in tire wear. Fresh bushings and balljoints + good alignment= happy tires

i dont remember what i had on previous to buying new 205s but i felt as if the ride was stiff. but i never really compared to how different the ride was before so iono. never kept the rims long enough to see how they wore out tho
