Exclamation REQUIRED VIEWING for anyone with black interior or wanting black interior

As most of you know, I experiment with just about every product out there trying to find what is the best bang for the buck. This product blew me away. Restore Black by Bondo. I used it on my Cowl and it worked so well i decided to try it on plastic pieces.

Here is what it looks like when you buy it, 6.47 at Walmart.

I took a BLUE plastic trim piece and applied one coat. This stuff is a dye not a paint so you put it on heavy and then just let it dry. I left part of it undyed so you could see the difference. This is after one coat and it is dry.

I was able to turn an entire Blue CRX interior to black with one 6.47 botlle and it looks factory. Of course it was blue and blue to black is not that big of change. Next I will be trying this maroon center console piece to see if it will work on this color just as well. stay tuned.

Why don't you compare this to Mothers Back To Black and Adams VRT? I use Back To Black myself and I love it.

^ yea, exactly this is more of a product to restore plastics to a more blacker shine. i use the black2black stuff on some of the black parts on the exterior of my legends. and it works well u gotta do a few applications at first, then ur good.

it might have made the dark blue look shinny and darker, almost black. but i'm not sure about the maroon or a tan part, i think it would just make the maroon or tan or whatever color deeper and shine more.

what where ur results?

In the first pic you can clearly see the line where it is BLUE and then BLACK. I did not take a whole bunch of before pictures, because i wasn't planning on it working. I took a picture of the maroon thing BEFORE. Its drying. I only had the tiniest bit left after doing the whole CRX interior so we shall see how it looks.

Regardless, if you have black interior and its starting to fade to blue, this stuff will completely black it out and its 6.47 for a bottle that will do the whole car.

next time ill just keep it to myself.
