Default My Type A interior swap COMPLETED!!

Had my front seats, armrest, and door inserts redone by American sunroof & upholstery dallas in black leather and thought I would share my results.. The majority of the work done is 100% leather. The seat back panel is vinyl as are the headrest but I'm going back to have the headrest recovered in leather. The passenger bottom seat heater element was damaged so I have a replacement coming from Alan Jackson that they will install free of charge. I couldn't be more happy with the finished product. My coupe smells so good!! The ride is better too because of the padding. Its been a long time coming to get these done as I've been collecting type A parts to complete my swap.

It all started with type E.

CL rear seat

Soon as i slowly collected all the type A seat trim pieces, which took some time, I pulled the seats, borrowed a seat from Hockeyman and droped them off at the upholster. I was very specific about what i wanted and I think i scared them a little because of my OCD on perfection. Low and behold….. perfection is achieved!

Looks amazing man, great job. And what an amazing job they did on your front seats, they look absolutely perfect.Ill be doing this to my white coupe soon. Question: did u dye your carpet? Looks extra black, i need to do that to bring some darkness back to mine.

Looks good. Makes me regret throwing out that pretty much complete Type A coupe interior when I moved out of Los Angeles.

Going to need to see how you installed those rear seats.
